Early Speech Socialization Of A Child In A Multilingual Environment: Problems And Prospects Of Preschool Education In The Post-Soviet Space

Abstract

This thesis deeply studies the problems and prospects of early speech socialization of children growing up in a multilingual environment in the post-Soviet space, in particular in Uzbekistan, from the perspective of preschool education pedagogy. The impact of a multilingual environment formed under the influence of Uzbek, Russian and English languages ​​on the speech, cognitive and cultural-identificational development of a child is analyzed psycholinguistically and pedagogically. The fact that the correct pedagogical management of multilingualism is a powerful factor in the development of a child, strengthening his cognitive functions and executive abilities, is based on empirical data. At the same time, the risk of a multilingual environment leading to speech confusion and problems of social socialization without systematic pedagogical support is considered. In conclusion, a pedagogical model of managing multilingualism in preschool education in Uzbekistan is proposed.
