Abstract

In the history of world pedagogy, there are thinkers who, despite being separated by centuries and geographical distance, demonstrate a remarkable similarity in their ideas. Two such prominent figures are the Czech educator Jan Amos Comenius (1592–1670) and the Uzbek enlightener Abdulla Avloni (1878–1934), both of whom hold a special place in the history of pedagogy. Although their socio-historical circumstances, cultures, and the periods in which they lived were fundamentally different, both regarded education as the foundation of national development and devoted their entire lives to advancing their peoples through enlightenment.
