This article analyzes the differences in risk assessment methods in small business enterprises and the impact of these methods on management decisions. The differences between different approaches in the process of identifying, assessing and countering risk - subjective, expert, statistical and model-based assessment methods and the contexts of their application - are studied. Also, their impact on management efficiency is systematically assessed. The article highlights the possibilities of reducing the level of risk in small businesses and optimizing the decision-making process through correct risk assessment tools.
