Competency Structures Of Syntactic Units: Comparative Analysis Of English, Korean And Uzbekistan
Abstract
In linguistics, the study of syntactic units is important not only from a structural perspective but also within the framework of the competence-based approach. The theory of competence encompasses the speaker’s grammatical knowledge, communicative abilities, and pragmatic skills. Since the syntactic systems of English, Korean, and Uzbek belong to different language families, their comparative analysis is an effective means of identifying both common features and distinctions. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the competence-based structures of syntactic units in the mentioned languages.
