Directions Of Remote Banking Services In Commercial Banks In The Digital Economy

Abstract

In this thesis, the rapid development of the digital economy in recent decades has led to fundamental changes in the financial sector, in particular in the system of commercial banks. Information and communication technologies (ICT), mobile devices, cloud services, artificial intelligence and the ability to process large amounts of data are moving banking services away from the traditional branch model and forming an ecosystem of remote, automated and customer-oriented services. Remote banking services are a set of services designed to allow customers to carry out transactions through electronic and digital channels, without having to face the bank face to face. These include mobile and internet banking, QR and POS payments, open banking interfaces, digital lending and deposits, virtual branches, and electronic identification systems. For Uzbekistan and other developing countries, the development of remote banking services is not only a means of increasing bank profits and reducing operating costs, but also a strategic direction that serves to expand financial inclusion, increase economic transparency, and the overall growth of the digital economy. In this regard, this thesis provides a detailed analysis of the trends in remote banking services, their economic and operational impact, adaptation to the requirements of the technological and regulatory environment, and future development directions, as well as practical recommendations.
