Abstract

The concept of concept is one of the main categories of cognitive sciences and linguoculturology. Despite the wide use of this term in foreign and domestic linguistics, there is still no single and generally accepted definition. Various approaches have been formed in modern linguistics to explain the concept. According to the results of scientific research, the concept serves the development of constitutional, religious, philosophical, historical and biological knowledge. This article analyzes scientific research conducted within the framework of the concept term, studies the existing scientific literature, and provides generalized conclusions.
